Resurrection Sunday isn’t just another day—it’s the day that changed everything. It’s the power of Christ on full display, the ultimate exchange: Jesus gave His life so we could have ours. That’s a reason to celebrate and a reason to prepare.

As your church gets ready to honor this moment, we want to equip you with everything you need to make it meaningful, powerful, and seamless. Whether you’re planning worship, outreach, or digital engagement, we’ve got resources to help you maximize your impact—without the stress.
Why "From Death To Life"?
"From Death to Life" isn’t just a theme—it’s a mandate for transformation. As Din Tolbert emphasized in his powerful goal-setting workshop, “Resurrection isn’t just about what happened to Jesus—it’s about what needs to happen in us.”

Just as Jesus moved from death to life, we’re called to do the same—leaving behind dead faith, dead works, and dead mindsets to fully step into the power of new life in Christ. Resurrection is movement. It’s a shift. It’s a challenge to stop living in cycles of survival and start thriving in purpose.

This isn’t just about remembering what He did. It’s about living resurrection now.

We unpack this even further in our latest blog post. Read more here.

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE
THE THIEF COMES ONLY TO STEAL AND KILL AND DESTROY. I CAME THAT THEY MAY HAVE LIFE AND HAVE IT ABUNDANTLY.
JOHN 10:10(ESV)
Why Resurrection Sunday?
You’ll hear us say “Resurrection Sunday” more than “Easter.” Here’s why: Resurrection carries the full weight of the Gospel. It’s not just about the cross—it’s about the empty tomb. It’s about victory over death and the promise of new life. Our core audience at the Exchange is church leaders so we prefer to say Resurrection.

But let’s be real—language matters. For outreach, “Easter” might be the best way to connect with people who don’t normally come to church. It’s familiar. It’s a bridge. The goal isn’t to push one term over the other, but to be strategic and intentional in how we invite people in. Know your community. Speak their language. Lead them into the deeper truth of the Resurrection.
